Opening an unsigned app on macOS.
Writerbox is not code signed or notarized. macOS therefore requires a deliberate confirmation the first time you open it.

Open the DMG and drag Writerbox into your Applications folder.

In Applications, Control-click Writerbox, choose Open, then choose Open again.

If macOS still blocks it, open Privacy & Security in System Settings and choose Open Anyway for Writerbox.
Updates
Updates are manual.
Return to this page when a newer Writerbox 1.x version is available. Download it and replace the existing app in Applications. Your local writing remains separate from the application bundle.
